WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

-Identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, hazardous environmental conditions, and practices in the workplace.
-Assist in on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, or in response to concerns from employees and managers.
-Stay current with trends and changes to health and safety legislations and standards, to anticipate their impact on our agricultural operations.
-Research and recommend technology and relevant trends, with relation to safety matters, and assist with implementation of existing processes.
-Review Safety Data Sheets database for Canada to ensure compliance with inventory products.
-Assist with tracking and filing of Health & Safety related licenses and training records.
-Participate in health & safety meetings.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

-Currently enrolled in college or university related program, preference will be give for students in a co-op program.
-Must be 18 years of age with a full G driving license to drive a company vehicle.
-Candidates must be available to work January to April, full-time hours.
-Strong
