Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing customer service, administration and building maintenance duties. This position will complete: room layouts and setups, waste collection, general cleaning, maintain equipment and operate all facility equipment. Assists with set up and tear downs for programs and rentals.  Responsible to ensure City By-laws (e.g. no smoking in areas, proper parking) and regulations are followed and to secure buildings upon opening or closing.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Educates on facility rules/by-laws, ensuring adherence to City rules and regulations.
-Follows and adheres to building-site specific procedures and inventory controls.
-Ensures a clean environment at all times by performing cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, trash collection, disinfecting and assists with heavy cleaning.
-Ensures a safe environment at all times, enforcing rules, performing safety checks and reporting any safety concerns.
-Completes special projects as identified by full time staff.
-Assist with Workplace inspections (JHSC) & QMS monthly inspections.
-Operational Troubleshoot (Reset Electrical breakers, Av Troubleshoot, BAS Controls).
-Being a liaison with the various internal/external stakeholders.
-Assists administration team and event coordinator team with tasks and projects as identified by full time staff.
-Assists with set up and tear downs for programs and rentals 

Skills and Qualifications
-Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C or willing to obtain within the first six months of employment
-WHMIS Certification
-The successful candidate should possess good interpersonal and communication skills for working in a multi-tasking customer service environment
-Computer experience in Outlook, Word, Excel are deemed an asset
-Previous experience and the ability to do physical work in a variety of climatic conditions
Hourly Rate/Salary: 20.98 - 25.60 
Grade: PD 
Hours of Work: up to 24  
Work Location: Various City of Mississauga event locations
