The Build (Responsibilities)
-Move tractor trailers around/to and from docks on premises
-Maintain appropriate fuel levels (driving cab only)
-Fill orders using packing lists as a guide to pick various items
-Print packing lists and place packing lists on boxes
-Use an RF scanner to pick items within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
-Use the WMS to group orders that will ship using the same carrier
-Use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas
-Operate a forklift to retrieve various items
-Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers from pick slots to forklifts
-Determine the proper box size for orders and pack properly to ensure quality
-Perform basic mathematical calculations
-Follow safety regulations
-Perform other related duties, as required or directed
The Toolbox (Qualifications)
-Previous experience operating a standup forklift and/or pallet jack
-Previous distribution or warehouse experience
-Basic computer skills
