Occupational Therapist Team Lead / Manager - Permanent
Location: London
Salary Up to GBP45,000 + Negotiable depending on Exp.
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday - 09:30am-18:00pm

Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership
*Provide guidance and mentorship to therapy staff, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
*Support the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and protocols within the team.
*Assist in coordinating and scheduling caseloads to balance client needs and therapist capacity.
*Manage / Supervise the Occupational Therapy Team including the weekend Therapists.
Occupational Therapy Services
*Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for children with diverse developmental and sensory needs.
*Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services with a focus on sensory integration techniques.
*Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create holistic care strategies.
*Monitor and maintain documentation compliance, ensuring all therapy records meet clinical and legal standards.
*Assist in evaluating and improving clinic policies and programs.
*Contribute to recruitment and training efforts for new team members.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
*Act as a primary point of contact for complex cases, offering expertise and consultation.
*Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and the broader community to promote awareness of the centre's services.
*This role requires close collaboration and a strong foundation of trust with the Clinic Director, who will be working remotely at times, to ensure seamless continuity of leadership, oversight, and high-quality services for our clients.
Qualifications Essential
*Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
*Current registration and good standing with the relevant professional regulatory body.
*Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, with significant exposure to paediatric therapy.
*Proven expertise in conducting assessments and delivering interventions for sensory integration challenges.
*Strong leadership and team-building skills, with prior experience in a supervisory or mentorship role.
Preferred
*Certification or advanced training in Sensory Integration Therapy (e.g., SIPT certification).
*Experience in multidisciplinary team environments.
*Familiarity with a range of therapeutic tools, including Ayres Sensory Integration(R) equipment.
