What you'll be doing:
* Managing urgent shipments for UK and EU transport.
* Quoting, booking, and tracking jobs - keeping customers updated every step of the way.
* Providing multiple transport solutions, from airfreight to hand carry.
* Working with trusted suppliers to source the best options.
* Reviewing routes and suppliers to drive efficiency and profitability.
* Coordinating closely with warehouse, operations, and accounts to deliver a seamless service.
What you'll bring:
* Experience in freight forwarding, ideally within a fast-paced or time-critical environment.
* Knowledge of European transport planning (essential).
* Confidence under pressure and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-first approach.
* Ability to juggle priorities, stay organised, and deliver results.
* Computer literacy across MS Office and logistics systems.
* A second language or CPC qualification would be a bonus.
The details:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for shifts, weekends or travel when required.
Customer and supplier site visits where needed.
