Hill's Pet Nutrition is seeking a Global Manager/Sr. Manager for its Pet Parent Digital Ecosystem. This person will partner with the global marketing teams to own the creation of value-added pet parent experiences across our digital properties and guide Hill’s country teams to execute these global initiatives locally to support strategic growth plans.
Most importantly, they will have the opportunity to own the evolution of Hill’s consumer-facing digital platforms. As a key division of Colgate-Palmolive, Hill's is making significant investments to transform its digital future. This role is an ideal opportunity for an innovative strategic thinker to influence and implement a strategic vision to be at the forefront of this transformation globally.
This role mandates a blend of technical understanding with demonstrated strategic thinking. Finally, this individual will need to be able to operate effectively across cultures and geographies influencing stakeholders and colleagues remotely and in different time zones.
What You Will Do:
Pet Digital Ecosystem Strategy - 40%
-Develop, implement, and evaluate portfolio roadmap to ladder up to 2030 strategic vision; define business plans, success measures, value creation
-Establish discipline of data-driven decision making; defining key value propositions across the digital user journeys, identifying immediate and future opportunities
Pet Digital Ecosystem Ongoing Support - 10%
-Lead the management and coordination of Hill’s Pet website initiatives and feature upgrades, including definition of requirements, data-driven insights, collaborating with GIT, global stakeholders, and agencies on ecosystem architecture and global documentation, and managing the program’s multi million dollar budget.
-Lead centralized profile experience project for Global teams to adapt.
-Communicate to global partners on project details, testing requirements, resourcing, prioritization and timing.
Pet Ecosystem CX and Analytics - 10%
-Lead the establishment of success metrics for the Hill’s Pet Ecosystem, and its competent features, including collaborating with countries to understand baseline metrics. Working with Global Information Technology (GIT) and agency partners to establish structure/tagging to measure desired KPIs, and ongoing measurement of performance metrics against established goals.
-On an ongoing basis, provide updates to global and regional teams regarding success metrics and suggested actions to improve results.
-Work across CX (Customer Experience) teams to establish Voice of Customer benchmarks, growth metrics, and CX feedback loop to inform current and future enhancements.
Hill’s Pet Ecosystem Enablers - 15%
-Work with Global partners and agencies to share knowledge and best practices around the world to scale new ideas and accelerate digital maturity in the markets
-Own the vendor management for service providers, including budgeting, payment and strategic direction of the services
Pet Digital Ecosystem Content Strategy & Localization - 25%
-Drive transformative and dynamic content strategy for local adoption
-Centralize the global content requests to prioritize through our content creation process. Ensure regional input is given where gaps are prevalent and pet-parents could benefit from content.
-Optimize article translation and adaptation process and collaborate with search leads to remove outdated and re-write high performing elements
-Partner with GIT and the local markets to determine streamlined and automated technologies to assist in the translation and localization of content heavy experiences.
-Own localization of ecosystem updates by collaborating with regional and country teams to roll out each update to the appropriate countries, including understanding of local requirements, coordination with GIT and agency, and management of translation partnerships and AEM (adobe experience manager) integration.
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree
-5+ years of digital marketing experience
-3+ years of project management or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-Master's degree in Marketing, Business
-3+ years experience within the consumer packaged goods industry
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $120,000.00 - $168,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
