Primary Duties
Machine Operator – Multiple Shifts Available
Location: Durant, OK
Employment Type: Full-Time | Entry-Level Welcome
Dayton Parts is hiring Machine Operators to support production across multiple departments. This hands-on role involves operating machinery in forging, heat treating, and assembly areas. We’re looking for individuals who are safety-focused, reliable, and ready to grow within a manufacturing environment.
Available Shifts:
-Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
-Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
-Sunday – Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Primary Duties:
-Operate and monitor machinery in various departments
-Perform repetitive tasks while following standard operating procedures
-Lift, push, and pull steel materials as needed
-Work in high-heat environments while maintaining focus and efficiency
-Wear all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety
Required Experience / Skills:
-Commitment to safety – "Safety is #1" attitude
-Ability to work well with others and build positive team relationships
-Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
-Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation
-Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
Manufacturing experience is not required but is a plus.
