The Job You Will Perform:

-The Health & Safety Program Leader will support our development of HSE programs, policies, and procedures associated with the recognition, measurement, evaluation, and control of potential health and safety hazards.
-This position will work with our Health and Safety Program Managers to support the on-going Safety Excellence work and lead the implementation of effective H&S compliance and management systems, assure identification and resolution of critical risk items, monitor and support progress against enterprise initiatives to improve health and safety performance.
-Will support HSE training development and support delivery in both the corporate environment as well as our North American sites.
-Will support our Event Learning process.
-Will be present in our North American sites to provide on-going support of our Safety Excellence work and associated health and safety initiatives.
-Will support our Safety Excellence and Sustainability Managers and their assigned pillars.
-Will provide temporary on-site support to our HSE professionals as needed.
The Skills You Will Bring:

-3+ years of HSE in a manufacturing environment.
-Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or other related degree. M.S. degree a plus.
-Desire to obtain CSP or CIH certification(s) is a plus.
-Working knowledge of US HSE regulations
-Willingness to work with multiple layers of the organization from the shop floor through senior leaders.
-Strong desire to support safety culture transformation.
-Experience applying Human & Organization Performance Principles and building a resilient learning and caring organization.
-Proven team player with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
-Strong written & verbal communication skills; presentation and training delivery skills.
-Action Oriented, Drive for Results, Process Management, Functional/Technical Skills, Managing through Systems, Decision Quality
