COMPENSATION:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.90 - $27.00
(this pay range represents the rates of pay for step 1 to the maximum step for this position in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The starting pay for the successful candidate will start at step 1)
JOB SUMMARY:
To prepare food for customer consumption; to package product and wait on customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Prepare food items for display
-Package, label and price products
-Place point of sale signs, tags, stickers as needed
-Stock and display merchandise for sale to customers
-Assist customers with their orders
-Operate department equipment in safe efficient manner
-Maintain merchandise in cases, shelves for orderly display and rotation
-Clean department fixtures and equipment
-Maintain stock in storage area
-Order replacement merchandise and supplies as needed
-Maintain logs and records of damaged and lost merchandise
-Follow all safety rules and regulations
-Other related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-High school diploma is preferred but not required
-Valid Health Card
-Ability to read recipes, invoices, labels, signs to adequately prepare, package label and inventory ingredients and merchandise
-Must be able to operate a computerized scale, communicate with customers and perform basic math calculations
-Must maintain a sense of integrity
