Our Functional Service Provider (FSP) division is looking for a talented Principal Data Scientist to lead and/or support statistical activities on Gastrointestinal studies/projects, regulatory queries, and publications.
In FSP, you will be fully integrated into a pharmaceutical company’s team and work according to their SOPs directly in their systems and SAS server environment.
Your Impact
This is a Principal level position with hands-on and technical leadership components. The objective of this position is to build and improve interactive data exploration features on a web application for internal customers. This will involve optimizing the way various platforms interact with each other and scheduling/automating processes. We are also developing Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning applications. As this position is in Safety and Health-Value Analytics Group, data handling and graph generation will be part of the job.
We are looking for the following technical skills:
-BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics
-Minimum of 5 years' experience in programming for Data Handling
-Experience with Databricks and AWS is required
-Expert knowledge of SAS (Graph and Macro), R, Shiny, Markdown, Python
-Must have experience with R Shiny Application Development
-Must have experience of statistical analyses in health related field (CRO or Pharma)
-Artificial intelligence and machine learning experience
-Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, required
-Experience in UNIX/ Linux shell scripting experience
-Basic understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT, required
-Experience with other programming languages such as C# or Java, a plus
