Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly organised and analytical European Inventory Specialist to oversee inventory strategy, planning, and execution for both our central European hubs and local country locations. This role leverages SAP to drive data transparency, streamline activities, optimise part availability, and support service excellence across our European footprint.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Lead Inventory Management for central service parts warehouses and coordinate replenishment with local country operations.
-Utilise SAP (ECC/S4HANA) extensively to manage stock levels, generate forecasts, analyse usage patterns, and maintain master data accuracy.
-Synchronise Supply and Demand by partnering with service, logistics, and procurement teams to balance availability and cost.
-Develop and Monitor KPIs to track fill rates, stock turns, slow-moving parts, and excess inventory levels.
-Support Service Level Targets while minimising obsolescence and working capital.
-Establish Standardised Processes across countries for stock transfers, safety stock logic, and lifecycle management.
-Conduct Regular SAP Audits to ensure system integrity and train teams on SAP inventory best practices.
-Collaborate Cross-Functionally with finance, IT, and service leadership to align inventory strategy with business goals.
Requirements:

-Degree in supply chain management, Engineering, or related field.
-Advanced SAP skills (IM, MM, SD modules; S/4HANA or ECC)—able to navigate, analyse, and troubleshoot.
-Expertise in Excel-based data analysis, with proficiency in complex formulas, Power Pivot, and Power Query for managing large datasets, as well as creating dashboards and data visualizations.
-Fluency in English required; other European languages a plus.
-Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, cross-cultural communication abilities, and experience in delivering clear, data-driven presentations.
