As Associate Product Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tennant’s Autonomous Mobile Robotics (AMR) product category, with a strong emphasis on our Connected Services offering. You’ll support strategic planning, product lifecycle management, post-launch performance, and customer engagement, ensuring our solutions deliver real value across global markets.
This is a highly collaborative role that interfaces with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, and Marketing to accelerate innovation and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

-Analyze market dynamics including competitive landscape, macro trends, customer needs, and supplier capabilities in the cleaning equipment industry

-Lead execution of Connected Services strategy: from upstream activities (data analysis, stakeholder engagement, customer insights, value proposition development) to supporting downstream deliverables (training, promotions, collateral, communications)

-Partner with Sales and Senior Product Managers to identify, size, and prioritize growth opportunities for AMR and Connected Services
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Represent the product team in sales meetings and customer calls, supporting product introductions and competitive positioning

-Support global expansion initiatives for Tennant’s AMR portfolio in collaboration with Commercial and Product Management teams

-Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance the AMR product roadmap and portfolio strategy

-Assist in the advancement of existing strategic partnerships and evaluating new business opportunities

-Support in the preparation of monthly category performance reports and insights for leadership

Required Experience

-Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or Engineering preferred)
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-3–5 years of experience in product management, B2B sales, or marketing
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Proven success launching B2B products across multiple sales channels (Direct, Strategic, Distributor)
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Familiarity with direct and distributor sales models; experience in cleaning or mobile equipment industries preferred
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Demonstrated ability to drive results through cross-functional collaboration
style="list-style-type:disc"-
-Willingness to travel up to 10%; must be able to work at both Eden Prairie and Golden Valley locations as needed
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $77,200 - 115,800 annualized
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
