We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with special educational needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised support as a Teaching Assistant to a KS1 pupil with SEN
*
Work closely with the class teacher as a Teaching Assistant to implement learning activities
*
Support the pupil in academic tasks, personal development, and social skills as a Teaching Assistant
*
Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and resources as a Teaching Assistant
*
Build trusting relationships and act as a reliable Teaching Assistant for the pupil
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a KS1 or SEN setting
*
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach as a Teaching Assistant
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
*
Knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare practices
*
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant - desirable but not essential
