COMPENSATION:
Hourly Pay Range: $16.60 - $19.30
(this pay range represents the rates of pay for step 1 to the maximum step for this position in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. The starting pay for the successful candidate will start at step 1)
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the premises of the store and surrounding areas.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible to the Store Manager but may receive specific assignments and direct supervision from management group in performance of duties
-Clean, strip, wax, spot mop and sweep the floor areas of the store
-Maintain cleanliness of outside premises to include sidewalks, planters, trash cans and lights and other areas as directed
-Replace lights and lamps as needed
-Assist customers with their questions and maintain good customer relations
-Maintain all maintenance equipment in good working condition
-Keep supplies and equipment in neat, clean, organized manner in the designated area
-Follow all safety rules and regulations
-Other related duties as required
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-High school diploma is preferred but not required
-Ability to read supply, machinery, and equipment labels
-Must possess efficient hand-eye coordination and be able to operate machinery associated with this position
-Must maintain a sense of integrity
