Custom – First Shift

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

-The employee must be able to perform job duties for the position based on SOP audit performed by Quality
-Perform quality check on all units and advise Manager / Supervisor and operator of needed changes
-Fabricates doors and frames for vinyl extrusions using hand
-Identifies and tags material with written symbol for assembly and inspection
-Comprehends and completes fabrication on a sequence of operations
-Fit and assemble components
-Performs all general production work as required
-Additional duties may be assigned.
-The employee must be able to use an electronic scanning device with integrated program.
-Employee must maintain a 90% scan accuracy compared to production output.
-Employee is required to sit for Quality Knowledge and Skill examination.
-Employee in this position will be required to achieve and maintain a score of 75% and higher.
 

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

-High School diploma/GED (minimum)
-Must have at least two years of manufacturing experience preferably in a fabrication or production environment
-Job requires constant lifting in excess of 50 pounds.
-Employee must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour period of time.
-Job requires stooping, bending and kneeling.
-Must have good communication and organizational skills.
-Must have good math skills.
-Be vigilant about safety
-Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
