Our division Posi-Slope, market leader in the design and production of tapered roof insulation, is currently offering a General Production Worker position in Peterborough, ON.

What will my day-to-day look like?
-The function of a general production worker would include, but is not limited to:
-cross cutting
-layout of custom cutting
-packaging and loading processes
-Our factory cuts and codes tapered insulation products for reassembly on the roof.
-The function of the worker would include:
-assisting the operator during the fabrication process
-clean up at each station at the end of the day.
-The insulation products include Polyisocyanurate, Expanded Polystyrene, Extruded Polystyrene and Roxul Mineral Fibre
What is required of me?
-Experience driving counterbalance forklift.
-Able at reading imperial measure.
-Ability to work independently and have great team spirit.
-Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate leadership.
-Strong communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
-A good mechanical aptitude.
-Able to lift up to 50lb loads without difficulty.
-Must be in good physical condition.
What will give me an edge over other applicants?
-1-2 years previous Warehouse/Production experience.
-Experience with building products/warehouse.
-Forklift Operator and/or Fall Arrest certification.
