Position Overview
The Mold Maintenance Technician is a plant-wide support position to ensure the plant is running to optimal performance by performing mold cleaning, support for mold set up, and mold troubleshooting
Schedule:
-12-Hour Rotating Day Shift
-Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
-2-2-3 rotation (work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days; then alternates)
-Also available in Night Shift
Pay starting at $28/hr depnding on experience

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
· Clean, ice blast and grease all molds and mold components (follow Work Instructions for some molds)
· Clean excess grease from injection molding presses (tie bars, rails, etc.)
· Clean excess parts from injection molding presses (frame, rails, conveyors, etc.)
· Disassemble/assemble molds from sets, clean, organize and store
· Press and auxiliary equipment cleaning (press platen, additive feeders, etc.)
· Monthly carrier cleaning and greasing maintenance
· Perform weekly safety inspections on the tool room overhead cranes
· Perform monthly safety audits on the tool room flammable cabinets
· Follow and enhance 5S – Sort, Shine, Set in Order, Standardize, Sustain
· Perform small machining tasks
· And other responsibilities and projects as assigned
· Other duties as assigned
Qualification and Experience
· Education: High School Diploma. Preferred 2-year degree in Mold Tech.
· Experience: Experience with injection molding or having a technical machining background desirable Preferred experience with mold tech, mold setting, and press start-ups.
· Specific skills: Mechanical, hydraulics, and electrical. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and design to learn.
· Equipment & Machinery: Injection Molding presses and machines.
· Computer Experience: Basic computer skills required.
