Job Summary
St. John the Baptiste Catholic Church Gildehaus is hiring an Extended Care Aide.
Candidate should be:
-Caring, patient, and nurturing
-Flexible, able to multitask and adjust to situations quickly
-Able to work with a group of people to provide a team approach to daily tasks
Job Responsibilities
Candidate will:
-Be responsible for checking children out to authorized pick up person
-Serve daily snacks and be aware of any food allergies
-Supervise children on the playground and other outside areas
-Play with children in a variety of ways: puzzles, playdough, legos, art projects, read books
-Clean tables and sweep floors after snacks and any messy play activities
Job Requirements
Candidate will be expected to play with children at their level which requires getting up and down off the floor or smaller chairs.
