Survey 93 - "Has the weather affected your job hunting?"
Our survey has shown that 60% of people have not taken any time out from job hunting to enjoy the hot weather. This shows just how desperate people are becoming - they wont even relax in the sunshine as they want to get a job so much. 55% of people think that the hot weather has not affected their outlook and approach to job hunting. 67% however do think that interviewers are more receptive and positive when the sun shines. This is the same for most people when the sun comes out and generally people are more happy in the summer if we see the sun shining. Our final question asked jobseekers how much time they have spent OFF job hunting. 30% said no time, 20% said one day, 20% said more than 3 days and 30% said one week.
