Jobs in the construction industry will be involved with the building or assembling of infrastructure.
It is a huge industry with over 2 million people working within it in the UK. Most jobs are full-time and is an industry that is dominated by male workers.
Construction has suffered in line with the economy but there are areas that have not been effected, for example, development of schools, hospitals and transport.
There are thousands of jobs which include, for example, architecture, surveying, planning, building services, civil/structural engineering and the skill trade, including, plumbers, electricians, carpenters etc
