Dress Code

The first judgement that the interviewer will make is on what you are wearing so make sure you look the part! Dress formally and smartly to make a good impression – if you are dressed in a suit and tie you are likely to make a better impression than someone turning up wearing jeans. Before the Interview day make sure your smart clothes fit you, they are clean and they are out ready to be put on. Polish your shoes so they are shiny.
Men
Choose a dark coloured suit with a smart (not too brightly coloured) tie. A long sleeved shirt is smarter than a short sleeved one and dark socks are less intrusive. Take all jewellery off and cover up any tattoos. Do not put on too much aftershave, trim any facial hair so it is tidy and make your hair look neat and conservative.
Women
Choose a dark coloured suit, either trousers or a skirt. If a skirt, make sure you are able to sit comfortably and it is not too short. Wear comfortable shoes and a white shirt to match the suit. Wear smart jewellery, put on little make up and not too much perfume. Paint your nails and make sure your hairstyle is smart, not messy.
