Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements;
Plan and design major civil road projects;
Interpret, review and approve survey and civil design work;
Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, environmental impact studies or other investigations;
Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.

Skills:

Have 10+ years` experience Civil engineering experience with emphasis on transportation;
Are APEGBC registered or eligible for registration;
Have experience in project cost estimating, quality management, contract specifications and tender package preparation;
Have good written and oral communication skills;
Demonstrate leadership attributes;
Work well in a project team and can provide technical direction to a design team.
